Hi, I am experiencing the same problem. I have not found the cause yet, but i suspect that it may be a windows update. I am running a new system and after the first install it worked fine shutingdown properly, I installed a couple of things such as videocard drivers, chipset drivers etc, and it was still working fine. I had the problem before so I was monitoring this things and shuting down after each driver. app etc
It was not after I started installing updates that this problem happened, unfortunately i was installing most of them at the same time and have been unable to identify which one might be the culprit. I am uninstalling 1 by 1 but so far with no luck, i suppose the register may have been modified permanently and the only solution would be yet another clean install carefully applying 1 update at the time, will see... any help from anybody having already found a solution to the problem or any ideas will be appreciated.
