q9xxx Quad cores
What are the temps like on the 45nm intel q9xxx series, more specifically the q9550. Since i now have the capability to use 45nm procesors in my board, thought i might as well go for one. But before i do, i need to know if i would have to invest in a new heatsink.
Right now im getting 35 degrees on my e6700 dual core & around 55 on load (thats a 65nm dual core on air cooling btw) So i assume i would i see similar temps, even tho i would be using a quad, with the 45nm shrink? |
