I feel I should Qualify this somewhat.

Right now, my temps are 35,28,35,36 with a 45 degree GTX280...all running idle, with an ambient temp of maybe 19 degrees. Fans are set to mid level, for some noise reduction.

Under load, that jumps to 44,42,40,41 running prime for ten minutes under the same conditions. 46/42/43/44 after twenty minutes.

Higher ambient temps send it much higher though. This room gets hot in summer. Mid twenties hot. If not more. Load temps DO break 50 degrees. I think the highest I have recorded is about 55. Still fine in my opinion.

Bear in mind that those temps are with an overclocked cpu running at 3.8.

Idle temps are pretty much the same as stock, and load temps are a bit higher. The cooler the ambient temp is, it just makes all the difference.

When I was looking into the original purchase, I most definately found some really, really inaccurate information. Perhaps not inaccurate, but I was reading reports of varying temps...perhaps 10 degrees variance from my own. I believed my chip was running way too hot. But now I think its pretty much on the money.

Anyhoo.... I hope this helps. When I first installed, I was quite concerned about the temps I was getting.
