thanks for reply tried that downloaded and installed all the latest updates from packard bell and windows vista unfortunately still happens thought i might need a new graphics card but this is a new machine only had it from xmas. have told my system to run games as windows xp and as administrator also told it to run as single core. still no joy. thanks for reply any further suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
