even on that 9700.. you should be ok. But I'd recommend you get something like the TRUE, or even a low cost GREAT cooler like the Xigmatek s-1283 and get the Q9550 and you'll be blown away with how well it runs.
Or, now the prices are down. get the Q9650. Guaranteed that it is a E0 stepping. (The run cooler than the C1 stepping that some 9550's have) and more than likely you take take the Q9650 near 4.0 Ghz with decent temps. mine sits at 4.0 Ghz with 27c temps.. but that is under water. |
