Load IE and in the Address bar type mail.live.com (make sure you have already logged out as if you are already logged in it will simply take you to your inbox). then enter you username and password as normal. Lastly when you click login text will appear to say that it is connecting to your account and loading etc; at the bottom of that text it should say something along the lines of "loading taking to long click here" and it will initiate a lower bandwidth version of live mail. I've used it before and it almost like using the old hotmail but, with the slightly newer interface.[/quote]


I loaded IE8, but when I closed the browser then re-opened it, didn't see any changes. Should I have? I did type mail.live.com, and went to my account, but it didn't ask for my login info. How do i know I am actually usuing IE8?
