Tried use the fix you quoted and got this reply:
We're sorry, but the browser you are using is not currently supported.
However, if you have Internet Explorer 7 or 8, you can use this diagnostic solution by following these directions

Copy this link:
Microsoft Automated Troubleshooting Services 1.0
Open an instance of Internet Explorer.
Paste the link into the address window.

Then I got the following on Internet explorer:
RUN TIME ERROR (740)
