There are no 64 bit drivers on the Canon website. Why cannot someone provide the registry entry to delete? Interesting that that real type of help is difficult to find online.
My x64 vista system was working with my two canon cameras just fine, using PTP (Picture Transfer Protocol) until today when the devices showed an error in device manager. When I uninstalled the driver, then reinstalled, the cameras worked. I rebooted, now the cameras are not visible on Device Manager and scans for new hardware do not detect the cameras.
Nothing personal, but saying "just check the OEM website" is not really help. |
