Ok, good to see you got past the networking issues. You might be
hitting the Vista/non-Vista sharing issue.
Is your printer setup on a public or private network on Vista? Here's
a guide for sharing a Vista printer.

just run throught the printer part and make sure you're set up the
same way (same workgroup), network is set to private, and so on.
