FWIW, I have been very happy with Avast...not too many choices with x64, especially for free. I have used McAfee with less than ideal results on my x86 systems (found 34 issues with Malwarebytes on the wife's laptop that McAfee had not addressed)  Used Symantec (albeit 2004) with horrible results on a former companies networked systems.  Sophos worked well for me in the office W2K environment. My Best, Michael |
