Dynamic Cache Service for 64 bit?

I noticed there's an MS download for Dynamic Cache Service for 64 bit. It says something about read file caching having the possibility to "consume all available memory." I'm asking because I noticed if I drag & drop large files on my Vista Home Premium 64 bit SP1 to a USB that can only write at around 24 MB/sec, the copy dialog shows it copying much faster. Then the destination folder shows a progress thingy in the address bar. I have 8 GB ram and haven't had a crash yet, but I'm just wondering if this is what they are talking about? If I copy a 4.3 GB image instead of a 700 MB .avi I don't want my system to choke!

Anyone have any info?
