Greetings,
Have you waited a bit instead of force exiting (which is what you're doing if you're getting
AppHang), just to see if it will recover?
Just as a random idea, some freezes in Messenger are simply due to a networking device not
responding correctly on the network. If you have such a device (like a router), you may want
to power cycle it to see if that solves the problem. Especially if this just started
happening out of the blue.
