Re: Microsoft Automated Troubleshooting Services - Windows Vista Did you happen to run Microsoft Automated Troubleshooting Services on a Win 7 box? Microsoft ATS does not support running diagnostics on the Windows 7 operating system because diagnostics are shipped in-box with Win 7 (so they can actually be accessed via the Action Center in the Control Panel). Before Windows 7 is released to market, the Win 7 user experience will be to see specific steps about ‘how to’ run a diagnostic from the Action Center when trying to launch a Microsoft ATS diagnostic from the website. Error 514 was an early ‘block’ to keep the diagnostic from running on the Windows 7 OS, however, this is now be fixed and error 514 shouldn’t be displaying anymore.
