I also was experiencing dep closing windows mail..... Key word is WAS!!!! I also am running Norton as my virus scanner. My operating system is Vista Home Premium with multiple accounts set up. My admin account was the only one that had the problem that dep closed win mail. All Other accounts could run win mail. What I did to solve my problem was to create a new admin account and copy the files I wanted to it from the old admin account and deleted that account. I then logged on to the new admin account, opened windows mail and set up my mail account. Problem solved. I am also still using Norton as my virus scanner and it is working fine.
