I had this problem twice, first time it was a loose power cable in the back of the cd drive, pushed it back in and it was ok, the second time it happened i had to remove the power lead from the PSU, left it for 5 min, plugged it back in and again it was ok, i hope one of these works for you but i get the feeling it's not going to be that easy.
