I had the same problem with dual monitors. One set for 1440X900(WS) and the secondary to 1280X1024(4:3). Somewhere I read that running two monitors in different resolution causes this problem with or without CCC.
Solved the problem by installing a second video card for the secondary monitor. Not a cheap way but never had the problem again.
Using 4850 for primary and a 4550 for secondary.
If you decide to go that route, ensure that the secondary card is also supported by your current ATI driver. |
