Downloaded the uninstall utility from Kaspresky and the second stage of the tool found and removed some remaining pieces. After that I still found files in the Program Data folder and removed them manually.
After AVG failed to install I tried Avast but uninstalled it then downloaded there uninstall tool and removed even more.
Still fails and says there is another av product installed but I can find no traces of it in either the program files or the programs files (x86) folders.
Also run the install in admin mode and have disabled windows defender and firewall. |
