The clean up of "uninstalled" anti virus progs can be a real pain & time consuming.  I suggest that you resist the temptation to try to install another AV prog until your computer is properly cleaned. Other points to check - What is listed as showing in your Security Centre? Did you click the orb & do a search for any AV remnants left from the progs you had already downloaded & uninstalled? Recheck in Prog Data files etc making sure that hidden files & folders are showing. Did you reboot after uninstalling the unwanted AV progs & after using the uninstall tools? As a precaution - Make sure Defender & the firewall are turned back on. Are you operating with "protected mode" turned on? Use the www very carefully in the meantime.
