Code 10 is driver related. First un-install
all your sound drivers, you may want to clean up your registry, download Ccleaner, (it's free, link below) and clean the registry, BACKUP YOUR REGISTRY WHEN PROMPTED. follow the Realtek link and download these sound drivers, tick the box and press next, they are the top one's "vista/windows 7". Install these and post back.
