Vista Ultimate
First off, Hi to everyone!!! Here's my situation, I've got a laptop with vista 64 home premium running sp2, flawlessly I must add. I've got the upgrade from Vista Red Ultimate 64 with sp1. I can't upgrade because the home premium is sp2 and the vista red is sp1; or so I think, since it tells me that the installed os is newer. I don't want a clean install because of all the programs that I need and are already installed. So, I was wondering if there is a way to have the vista red sp1 installed even when the sp2 is installed. I can't uninstall sp2; it doesn't show up because I did a deep clean. So that removed all temporary files. I didn't think I would need to do the upgrade but am in need of using the fax that comes in ultimate. Anyway, if anyone could help, I'd appreciate it. Thanks |
