Thank you guys for your advice. Unfortunately, I can't get anything to work properly.

Here is where I stand with everyone's help, which I've tried:

1) The latest driver I installed is version 186.18 and was created on June 18, 2009. So that is the latest and greatest and is younger than the driver that came with my card.

2) I try to install my monitor's driver, but the monitor properties are grayed out. So I can't even access it. Also, it is only showing a single monitor option, when there should definitely have a second, grayed out monitor shown on the display settings tab.

3) There is the full name of my video card under the Device Manager list.

4) I am a bit lost to JimJoe's suggestion that possibly there was another monitor selected during downloading of the driver? Can you please elaborate?


I might just reinstall my old driver since that worked fine. I am trying to find my monitor's driver's online but can't seem to do so. I just don't understand why my monitor properties are grayed out under display properties option?
