Greetings Brenda,
No problem. Start up Messenger and after it's signed you in, right-click it's icon in the
notification area (by the clock) then choose Sign out. If the main Messenger window is not
already displayed, double-click the Messenger icon in the notification area to display it.
You'll then be presented with a screen with your Windows Live ID and a place with the
password (grayed out). Choose the arrow button to the right of the 'Sign in as' field which
will present you with the options needed to have the password removed. Just uncheck
'Remember my password', then type in your password and choose Sign in.
Now Messenger will remember your Windows Live ID e-mail address, but still require you to
type it in.
