I had accumulated about 30 updates before installing them. I only did NOT
install 3 of them but gave the go ahead on all the others, mostly security
updates, one defender, etc... I don't remember now exactly what the problem
was but I seem to remember that it did not reboot correctly after completing.
At any rate, I tried to do a Restore after experiencing problems and it would
not successfully restore to either of the points I chose. Some of the
problems I am experiencing are the videos that I am sent as attachments will
run for only a few seconds, then stall out for a lonnnng time, then another 4
or 5 secs. if I am lucky then crap out again. I will do the same on videos
chosen off a site to run like a news story video for another example but it
has other performance issues too I think just can't think of or remember them
right now... Is there any way to find the updates that I installed from those
30 and uninstall them all or even a select number of them? Which ones would
be suggested that I uninstall? How would I tell them from tell others? will
their number be the only way? My videos used to stream all day long without
any hesitation or problems and I am sick and tired of this running like a
POS. This is exactly why i hesitate to do any updates when they come along.
The security updates at the ones that I truly dont want to blow off or not
install. There are some others that i don't feel good about not installing
too, but don't remember them all.
So what can I do to recover this system back to the 'before updates"
condition, if anything??? Something obviously got messed up as I can't use
the Restore feature to get back to an earlier date. Hoping for some really
good suggestions here...
