Since Windows Live Mail is a separately-installed application, and not an
integral part of any operating system, its appearance in Win7 RC is
identical to what I see in Vista. Some parts of the GUI do depend on
settings in Internet Explorer, just as they did in Outlook Express and
Windows Mail. And many appearance features are set in Display Options and
Personalization and other overall settings for the operating system. But
they also depend on hardware (graphics boards, monitors, etc.) and on user
preferences, so it's impossible to give a generic, fits-all answer.
Possible variations are endless.
Generally speaking, though, to me on my only computer, WLM looks exactly the
same in Win7 as in Vista.
