If you have an OEM machine (HP, Sony, etc.) then there is a way to enter the
factory recovery process, usually by pressing a function key (like F11)
when the computer is first started. Refer to your manual. Please note that
when you do this everything you put on the computer will be gone so make
sure you back up your data to external media first!
