I thought OCZ RAM was a piece of crap because I couldn't get my 680i board to make it work, closest I got was 1048 so, when I built this rig I went with Corsair Dominator 1066 and a 780i board. I cold bore you to death but there is no need... I am running it at 1048 as well
Suffice to say, I have stopped trusting what Mfrs say or, at the very least, not believe 100% of what I read.
