Without knowing system specs I could say that it may in fact be a driver problem. I suggest you update the drivers. Go to NVIDIA.com and download the latest drivers. Once you have the latest drivers, don't go ahead and install them, as your previous drivers may be corrupt (hence why you get a hidden BSOD).

Uninstall the previous drivers, you can find them in the list of applications which is located somewhere in Control Panel. (don't know if you are using Vista, XP, etc) Then restart. Your computer may look like crap after restarting because of the uninstalling of the drivers, now install the new drivers and restart again. It should work fine.
