I think that is is a mike problem. It has been getting worse over time. One day last week it worked fine in the morning. I had downloaded the lastest version on skype, but then in the afternoon it when back to it's old way of being static. A friend suggested that it maybe dirt in the mike and I could get an air can and blow it out.
