It'd help if we knew where WLM stored the email address and password,
then we could see what is or isn't happening.
Presumably it stores it in the registry.
Could Yahoo have deleted the registry entry where WLM tries to save
the password? If the registry entry was missing would WLM create the
registry entry or would it try (and fail) to save the password. Don't
mind me, just thinking aloud.
