Hi Bob, Gloria and everyone else,
You should restart your computer. Probably, you disabled "Simple file sharing" during this session. You will not see some changes in Windows untill you restart your PC.
I had this problem on XP BTW, but I am guessing that it's not different on Vista or Win7.
