I'm not sure that comcast supply ADSL lines Joan, I think Comcast is a cable company like Virgin Media, they don't use ADSL filters, I think it's something to do with the wiring.

Thanks for letting me know that Dave, I wasn't sure just what Comcast used which is why I said here we needed to have filters on the sockets.
And there's no chance of us getting cable so I wouldn't even know how Virgin did it
