Re: Help with Windows Firewall and Base Filtering Engine

OK, created the repair cd from the second link. That didn't work either. The repair option reported that there was "nothing to repair."

I have heard that another option my be an "upgrade install" of Vista. Neither the disk from the "How-To Geek" nor my Vista installation CD have this option. Is it perhaps because I have Vista SP 1 installed.

Sheesh! How do I fix these (likely) corrupted files?

Thanks for all the help!

Trying the repair disk from the second link now.
