Thanks Jonathan, I should have mentioned that I use IE6. Is there a way to
disable this integration with this older version? I have already tried the
"Manage Add-ons" options menu item. There are only 2 add-ons listed from
Microsoft: "Windows Live Sign-in Helper" and "Windows Messenger". I've
disabled both. There is not an add-on listed that has a file name following
the "msgsc.*.dll" format you mentioned.
I did look in the registry to see if there was a way to disable it and was
able to find the "msmsgs.exe" that's starting under the
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Extensions\{FB5F1910-F110-11d2-BB9E-00C04F795683}. Can I disable it
using a change somewhere at this level?
Thanks again,
- Dave
