The update to IE8 made some changes.
As far as the toolbar goes, just right click and "delete" anything that you
don't want to have up there.
To the right of the search panel, there is a drop down list where you can
select/manage search providers.
If your homepage has been changed, navigate to the homepage of your choice,
then in options set that as your homepage.
You are accessing this newsgroup thru the web.
If you learn how to access newsgroups thru a newsgroup reader,WinMail is
one,you won't be bothered by such LIVE things.
And, if all that is too complicated for you, in Control Panel_Programs and
Features_Installed Updates ...you can uninstall IE8.
As for as your responses from children, you only got one.
The rest of the responses were to that child.
Its a newsgroup, most read it on USENET, and users are under no obligation
to give you the response you want.
