When you reinstalled did you have the scanner connected?
Install the software without the scanner connected.
Now when the scanner is connected it will (hopefully) see the drivers.
If you end up with the red exclamation mark then you need to manually tell device manager where the drivers are.
I have the DX4400 and DX4450 and the drivers are in system32 and twain32 |
