If it occurs before Windows starts loading, have you tried to rebuild the RAID array?
Many thanks for the reply
It occurs when the system won't boot, so then I boot in safe mode and the list of loading drivers stops at crcdisk.sys and won't go any further.
Of course I have rebuilt the RAID array but my question is asking if anyone knows of a potential work around of this problem so that I - and others - don't have to rebuild a perfectly working RAID array and lose any important info.
Perhaps there's a way to get around it by adjusting certain BIOS settings or can you reload your MoBo SATA RAID drives at Vista repair without deleting your array before hand?
Any suggestions would be great, thanks.
