History is usually always mandatory in school. Sometimes its the Real Deal, sometimes not. US High School History is typically a series of facts, interpsersed with fables and myths about our history and all are taught as facts.
The number of complaints I heard in University history classes were many.
Astounding that people still believe George Washington had wooden teeth. Or that he chopped down a cherry tree. |
