Did you restart the computer and try again?

Also, have you tried launching by click Start > All Programs Accessories >
Sidebar?
Also try enabling it to start automatically with your PC:
Click Start > type "Windows Sidebar Properties" > check "Start Windows
Sidebar when Windows Starts" > click OK.
