Greetings,
Messenger tries port 1863 and failing that will try port 80 (standard HTTP port).
It also needs port 443 (HTTPS) for authentication. All outgoing.
That said, most than likely it's specifically banned if HTTP and HTTPS isn't working. In
which case you'd have to use one of the web-based solutions.
