Yep thats a pity and a bit inconsistent between the UI tag selection in
Photo Gallery and the search box in Photo Gallery.
For example clicking on mutliple tags in the UI results in a search or'ing
the selected tags, where as typing in the same set of tags in the search box
results in an and'ing of them.
