Re: Windows Explorer hangs when deleting or renaming files

Chad, Thanks for your rather exhaustive list of suggestions,but I've already
tried most of them. One did intrigue me, however, and that was your
suggestion to turn off indexing. It's my understanding that this cannot be
turned off in Windows Vista; in fact there are several posts in these forums
to that effect. Believe me, I'd love to turn it off. My CPU runs at about
50% ALL of the time with this stupid Windows Search alwys active. Got any
more information how to turn this off?
