You can't fix it. That's how it works now.

Its not that slow. Do you have antivirus software set to scan email? That would slow it down.

That's normal. Just let it be. It will get even bigger.

There is now just one database file and all the messages are listed there (the messages are not stored in the file) and have fields extrapolated from them. It can get over a terabyte if you want. <G>

My Database is 256 megs I have compacted deleted read messages and bodies and headers but its still 256.
What can I try?
I don't want to reset all my ng's and just have to download all the crap over again.
Ideas?
