An excellent choice, SATA II and NCQ - that's all what Vista expects

You checked your BIOS? At least, set the values to default?
Did you deactivate the integrated graphics adapter ("Integrated VIA
DeltaChrome GPU Max. 256MB Shared Memory") in the BIOS
