the vista upgrade adivsor is correct. if you try to run vista on a 533Mhz
processor, it will run very slowly, but will still run (you will not get to
use aero glass, or flip 3d, though). I strongly discourage installing vista
on such a system. if you can't afford a new system, you'll get better
performance out of XP, and won't have to deal with the bugs in Vista Beta 2.
Start saving your money, and buy a new system with Vista pre-installed.
