ASUS A8N Sli Premium/8800GTX.....looks like I'm screwed two times.
Yeah , I read other places on the web that the problem is Ndidia/ASUS/MS
Vista mixed , but I also read thst MS and ASUS are aware of the prob and
working on a fix.
The problem with that is they already released an update that fixes one of
the ACPI devices but not the other and i don't know if that will be the end
of their fixes for this issue.
This is a tidbit I found about the ATK0110:
"The ATK stands for AsusTek, meaning ATK0110 is registered to
Asus, for their use as a pseudo-device. It is an alternate means
to access things like the clock generator, or multiplier settings
and the like, when you want to change overclock settings while
sitting in Windows."
And here is a link to Anandtech fourms to a post that says that a fix may
be on the way:
http://forums.anandtech.com/messagev...&enterthread=y
that is all I can find on this issue , I hoep there is a fix soon.
