At the last minute in the beta they changed the location to the current
message store location.

So its under %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\Stationery

I guess they did that to keep everything in one place.

Although the location specified where it use to be specified is here:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Stationery

and it says:

%CommonProgramFiles%\Microsoft Shared\Stationery

And that also has stationery examples in it, but I think WinMail is using
the location in the message store.

You might try composing a message with builtin stationery and then look and
see what the Base href is that WinMail inserts. For me, its pointing to the
message store location I referenced in the second line above.

Good way to find out where the message store is. <G>
