hanks Carmine,
Your comments got me looking in the right direction. I've moved from
windoew 98 to Vista and sometimes I wonder why. I was going to Control
Panel/Mail and setting up my email there. From the finestplanet website I
noticed that I could change my smtp to smtp.dialon.us, which I did and then I
noticed when I got the error message that the error message still had
smtp.finestplanet.com. In doing more checking I discovered that in
Microsoft Mail under tools there is an Account option. Once there it all
came together. I still don't know what the Control Panel/Mail setting does.
Thanks,
Phil
