RE: problems with installing vista

welcome to the club.
I'm having similar problems (with my PC there is no error message however),
but it is quite obvious that Vista fails to implement a proper boot sector.
After reboot around 21 to 26% the PC hangs and is unable to boot.
That's it.
I tried lots of things, up to now nothing helped.
Clean install or update, it doesn't matter ...
