Re: Saved Pictures on DVD or ClD's are not recognized in Vista. I've been having problems with the MS Photo Editor's inability to open high
resolution photo images (in .jpg format) in Vista. However, in XP, the
program opened high resolution images. The cut-off seems to be about 3-4mbs
in file size. Above that and I get an error message. I had to change the
default program for opening images to Photoshop CS2...but I should not have
to. I'm trying to find out why Vista's version of MS Photo Editor has
limitations. It shouldn't. However, your problem may be that your image
file sizes are larger than the Vista MS Photo Editor will open. Try opening
them in another program other than MS Photo Editor. You may find that it's
a problem with Vista's MS Photo Editor program. If you find a fix, let me
know...
