hey mike,
yes i tried to make a flat installation without removing xp (i was doing
clean installations because i had backed everything up onto an external hard
drive)
yes the installation failed, many times.
Yes i was stuck with xp.
And yes, with the Vista files from the DVD that i put onto my drive and that
vlite altered, i created a bootable DVD.
Yes i then booted with that DVD and did a clean installation that worked
just fine.
No i did not have to put in the vista DVD anymore.
Everything worked.
